I was wondering what the name of this plant is, it did have a red leaf on it but one of my fish broke it off. I was also wondering why some of my Anacharis is a reddish purple color?

If it was a bulb it is probably some type of Aponogeton, most likely Aponogeton Crispus.

+1 looks just like my aponogetan crispus.

How much light do you have?

Sometimes high iron and high light can make some plants turn reddish... (Never heard of it happening to anarchis, but it's possible.)

I wouldn't complain, I wish my plants were purple.

I'm using a all-glass hood with a 8000k daylight bulb, it's a shallow tank so I didn't think it needed much. The plants just started putting out green shoots and roots. I think it was just discolor after looking at it, I think it was clippings from a pond. The water by me taste like rust/iron so maybe that's it.
