I was at the pet store the other day and saw a tank of ribbon mollies. I've never heard of them and I can't find anything on the internet about them. They were half orange and half white but different from the creamsicle ones. They had a larger fin on top and white and blue spots near their tail fin.

The reason you probably can't find them listed as "ribbon mollys" is because most lfs's and wholesalers make up their own names for many species of fish, especially livebearers, based on their color and finnage... and it is mostly just sales hype. If you get back to see them again get a clear photo to post here and you will be more likely to get a name you recognize and can look up. If it is a standard or sailfin molly, the info about them is going to be the same as every other standard or sailfin molly... they are all the same fish species, just different color morphs and fin styles accomplished through selective breeding.
