- - Peaceful Cichlids?

Hello.. So this is to go off of my 75 gallon tank, not my 10. I'm looking for beautiful (arent we all), peaceful, and plant friendly cichlids! I dont want, however, a 7-10inch plant killer, or a territory freak. If you have a easy to breed, 1-4inch cichlid, that would be a peaceful addition to a cichlid tank... please let me know! If there are plants I should get or avoid for my tank... would love to know about that as well.. would hate to wake up one morning and see all my plants have been eaten. lol thanks. :-P

Keyholes, Festivums and Rams would be some possibilities.

If you don't mind going larger, my chocolate cichlid and blue acara are both very peaceful, and they don't pay attention to my plants. They both get well over four inches though, so just a suggestion. If you want to stick with small, I would vote for rams.

As long as your water fits their needs you can get pretty much any dwarf cichilid, rams kribs cockatoos agazizzii key hole etc.

I reckon the best peaceful cichlids in my experiences is the electric yellow. I have kept about 6 different types of cichlid but by far the most peaceful for me at least was them. They also leave plants alone and look pretty awesome with their bright colours. I would definitely recommend them.

We don't know the params though so the water could be off to far for the yellows.

Water parameters would definitely help! But I am assuming you have soft, acidic water, as most plants won't grow in hard, alkaline water very well. :)

I have incredibly hard water here, and my plants grow just fine. It just depends on the plant.

Can we have water parameters please.
