South American Puffers eating This is a link to my vid of my SAPs. I have 3 in a 36 gallon bowfront tank Had for about a month. The one is eating eggs that a Cory had just laid. |
LOL!! He's so FAT!! Thank you for sharing! |
thanks. I was worried he was going to burst after eating so much. I had fed him a few black worms before the Cory started laying eggs. He ate and ate! |
that music was just youtube picking a random song to go over the static noise from before. |
Don't worry.. they won't bust The Puffer Forum • View topic - Who are you calling fat? That is a pic of my old fatty |
I'm curious, is your tank brackish, or does it have typical Amazonian parameters? |

The GH is around 10 and the KH is around 4 For substrate I just recently switched from colored gravel to Eco-Complete Planted Aquariums. And for plants I wasn't overly picky about matching their environment but I do have 2 amazon swords. And a few other smaller plants. Also a piece of mopani driftwood. The puffer seem to be doing well. Only had for about a month and a half. They are growing. Both long and round haha. Feel free to ask anything else. I'm new to offers and this tank is just put together on what I've read, already known, and what looked good to me. |

I am on well water so I have liquid rock in my tanks. South American waters are fairly soft compared to Europe and North America. |
