My first tropical tank
 

Hello everyone this is my first time i have ever set up a tropical tank. I got a lot of ideas and help form here thanks all let me know what you think. :-)

Looks really good, I might add some short plants or a piece of driftwood to the middle to break things up a bit but it looks very good.

Nice work. If I may, i would just suggest a dark background, something as simple and inexpensive as black construction paper that you can buy a sheet of at the arts/crafts store. It would expand the space and help to break up that centre open area that lorax84 referenced.

This is a great start. It looks nice, and it's apparent that you put a good deal of thought into it. I would agree that a background would be a nice addition, and perhaps an interesting rock or piece of wood somewhere in the middle(but not dead center). What are the species of fish that you have there?
