have you tried to PM Administrator or one of the moderators?

don0101 04-03-2011 09:15 PM

I dont know how to do it man :(

ohh... at the very bottom left hand corner of your screen, you'll see "User CP" (you'll have to scroll down to see it).

That is where you control your settings and private messages. Next to that is the FAQ. Read through that and you'll learn how to navigate the forum a little more :)

There is a minimum number of posts that a person has to have made before they are able to use the chat room. I'm not sure what the number is, but I have read in other threads that it was implemented to ensure that people who are using the chat are actual contributing members to the site rather than fake/spam accounts.

To PM moderators/administrators, click on their names when you see their posts in threads. An option will come up for you to send them a message. if you are not sure who the moderators are, it will say by their profile picture that they are moderators. You can also look at the bottom of the home page where it lists the members currently online. Names that appear in bold letters are moderators. You can click on their names and it will take you to their profile, where you can access the options to either post something to their visitor page or send them a message (to clarify, this can be done with ANY of the members - i just realized that in the current context I have made it sound like you can only message moderators in this way hehe).

In closing, welcome to the site! I have personally learned so much since joining, and I'm sure you will too! There are a lot of very smart (and very patient!) people here.

:-)

Hi, and welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum. I also think iamgray answered your questions. There is also a section on how to use the forum that may offer some info to new members.

Byron.
