How old is my oscar???

Hey people! I have a 5 1/2 inch tiger oscar named Ozzy, and I had him sense last August 30th, and I'm just curios to know how old he really is. So I purchased him when he was 1 1/2 - 2 inches. Is there a way to estimate how old he is? Thanks! :)

I would say 3 years.

I'd say just about 10-12 monthsr old. By three years he would be full grown and about 12-14".

Oh my bad.

The one I got is about 3 inches long, so I can say he/she is under a year old correct?
Is there any place I can go to find the the sex of my Oscar? I haven't name it. Because I don't know what it is.

I haven't had it but about 3 weeks, yesterday I done a water (50%) change on his tank. He laid around not moving all afternoon like it was sick. I'm guessing it was just mad because I had replace the plants in it's tank. Because today it acts fine. Am I right about it being upset with me for me putting the tank back in order?

probably about the plants and to find the ender it is pretty much impossible I think not so sure.

Yeah, Oscars are very hard to sex. They can also be drama queens so yours was probably just sulking about the change to the tank. Might want to test your water just to be sure though.

I check the water before I put him/her in it, it's fine. He/ she is acting normal now and only acted mad about a half a day. Thanks for the information.
