Ich gone?

Yesterday, I woke up and one of my phantom tetras was covered in ich spots. I quickly removed him to the quarantine tank where sadly he later passed on. I started ich treatment in my larger tank right away although no other fish show signs of ich. the fish that got ich was one of our first fish

My question is, how long should I continue treating the tank?

This is our first experience with ich so I am unsure of everything we are doing yet want to do right by the fish. We did a 25% water change, removed the carbon filter, treated with ich guard, are slowly increasing the water temp from 76 to 84 but it's only at 80 right now. I also added salt and stress coat as I normally would for a water change. And, we added ich attack.

I have a 150 gallon, unplanted freshwater aquarium. My water levels are all in the good range. We have an odd mix of fish but it hasn't changed in a while.

We have:
3 serpae tetras, 4 austrailian rainbows, 1 turquoise rainbow, 1 Mickey mouse platy, 2 black platy type fish, 2 tiger barbs, 1 green barb, 2 rummy noses tetras, 2 phantom tetras, 2 bosmoni, 1 Cory cat, 1 striped cat, 1 pleco, 2 algae eaters, 5 gold barbs, 1 gold Molly, 2 red swordtails

typically it is 10 days at temps in the 80's when working with salt.

I agree, 10 days...

Now sure I'd be using an anti-parasite med AND salt... Usually it's one or the other, and could possibly counteract each other.

I'd quit the salt, especially since you have cories, and do the med at 1/2 strength.
Cories and other scaleless fish can be SUPER sensitive to chemicals.

Thank you! You would not add any salt at all correct?
