Bubbles from skimmer
Hi guys, just a quick 1
Should I try to minimise the amount of bubbles coming back in from the skimmer as much a poss or does it nit matter?
If someone can tell me how to post a video I will so you can see how bad it is. Thanks
Well if you have corals and/or live rock it would be a good idea to stop the bubbles because any micro bubbles will form big bubbles under the rocks which will kill of whatever is in the rocks or in them (macro/micro organisms). This could contaminate the water and possibly create small pockets of methane from the decomposition. It's not urgent to get it done unless its really bad but it would be a smart idea to fix it in the near future. :) hope this helps
if i recall you do have corals so as aqua kid has suggested a preventative mesure would be the best way to go..some corals can get the bubbles caught up with disaterous results.
