black ghost knife fish
i have a 55 gal. with two filters (aquatech 30-60) 5 water lillies, one chinese algea eater, 1 little algea eater, 5 angel fish(3 big 2 small), 2 tetras, 2 neons, 1 crab. im interested in purchaseing a black ghost knife fish but im afraid of it getting picked on. i have one medium sized decoration that the algea eater and crab have claimed. i plan on purchasing another decoration/ tunel for the knife fish. does anyone think ill have a problem with compatability???

im also worried about it gettin enough food sence my angels seem to eat everything in site!
BGK do eat small fish so your tetras would probally be food. Also most knifes hide all day and if you dont think its getting enough food you can always use a feed stick or straw to get the food to the bgk hiding spot. I personally wouldn't add one to a tank that size with those fish.

im not worried about my little guys being eaten as cruel as that sounds. but thanx for your input.

55 is probably too small for a BKG.

really... thats why i love this forum because the fish store says they need a 30 gal. max. ok then ive decided that im better off not getting one, also becuase i think im going to have some angel eggs soon.
