indentifing snails help does anybody have a site on identifing snails. Thanks Roger |
have you tried some of the sites that sell things, like www.liveaquaria.com , www.saltwaterfish.com or www.vividaquariums.com or are you looking for a site that lists snails? |
Take a few pics and I can tell you. |
http://www.applesnail.net/. This is very good for apples. :D |
usmc I am looking for a rule of thumb or something like that to know if it was venimus or not? I live with the ocean in my back yard and I want to know so If I find some I like I can add to my tank |
 maybe try Amazon.com for a book on them. I know where I live there are a few snails I don't pick-up when diving as they are poisonous/deadly. doesn't "Barron's" have a book on them? |

no I can try and take some pictures but there are so many different ones. Roger |
well what do you think. I think the cone shaped ones are safe, but I have done very little reseach. I know nothing about snails other then what you see in the fish stores. By the way are those very small dirt collored worm shaped things worms or dirt, and are they good to add to the system? Roger |
