Are Cory Cats Re-decorators?

Once or twice a week I find a plastic plant or two uprooted. I have also seen my Cory cat playing in the new "ditch" created by the removal of the plant. Are Cory cats re-decorators? I have heard that cichlids are notorious for this type of behavior, so I am just curious if Corys are as well.

I've not seen this behavior from cories. What other fish do you have in the tank? I've heard of plecos doing this.

Well, since Corys love to burrow in the sand/gravel in search of food, they are more than likely going to uproot a few plants. That's where the goodies usually be. - Frank
