Swordtail fry coloration

Hey yall, I was wondering if anyone had any information on how the color of swordtail fry works. For example will they be the color of the mother or father or a mix or some random color. Its my first batch of fry so im excited/nervous. I have tons of floating plants and some plastic grass on the bottom so i left them in the community tank. I feed them microworms and ground up flakes. Can anyone answer my question or give me any other advice about the fry?

Thanks 8-)

80 eggs? I have yet to see a swordtail egg. I am pretty sure Swordtails are live-bearers.;-)

I had an orange and black splotched female and a marygold male. When they had their fry, it was marygold with black splotches on top of the marygold coloration. It looked pretty neat. I don't know if that is "standard", though. Just my past experience.
