Discus & Betta? Discus & Tetras?

Will a discus be ok with a betta? This particular betta grabs food as soon as it hits the surface, will that be stressful for the discus? Discus are carnivorous, right? Will they eat tetras, guppies, and minos? Would a school of tetras be ok in there? What else is a slow eater that can go with a discus?

Though I don't have discus, I've been told that discus are best in a species only tank due to the requirements of discus. Even algae eaters such as plecos can cause problems with the discus (eating the slime coating off the sides).

Only with tetras that can handle warm temperatures and SA dwarf cichlids.

Do SA dwarf cichlids so you mean South American or South African? What are they? They can go with Discus?

SA = South American. Apistogrammas, Mikrogeophagus, ... Check the individual species if they will tolerate the temperatures.
