Going away, will my musk turtle baby be okay?
Hi guys, I'm going to be traveling over the weekend and won't be home for two days.
I have a musk turtle hatchling, well he's almost two months old now, and I was wondering if he would be okay without food for two whole days? He's very healthy and his lights are on a timer.
I'm just worried because he's always begging for food! So I hope he doesn't get too hungry.
Thanks for any help!
Walmart sells a battery operated fish tank feeder that holds enough food for 2 weeks I think. It is pricy at $20 but unless anyone else says he can go that long.... At least go look at it as an option, know that it is there should you decide and give yourself time to test it out too~!! make sure it works as stated.
Have a good weekend!
Thanks! I've looked into those but they won't dispense the food I feed him.
Do you have someone who could feed him for the two days? There are always pet sitters too.
