I had one sick Gourami, now the other is also not looking good. They hover at the surface, looking like hypoxia, working their mouth and gills very near the surface. Water tests are all good. The tank is one month today, and just the past few days all NO2/3 levels came down nicely, I think completing the cycle. I don't know what it is. I think the water is very good. All the other fish are very healthy.
Here are some pics of the Guorami:
Any advice appreciated.
28G freshwater, one month old today,
28 G fresh water, 6 Neon Tetra 1", 4 Orange Von Rio Tetra 1.25", 2 Dwarf Guorami 2", 1 Plecostomus 1.75", 2 Ornamental Snails 1", Aqua Clear 30 filter, standard heater, feed TetraMin flakes, Single tube 10W daylight fluorescent hood 15 hrs/day. No plants, No CO2 unit, very little indirect natural light, water change ever 5-7 days.
Water tests: low hardness, ph 6.5-7, NO2/NO3 very low.

Can you please post the exact figures of ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?:) How low are your nitrites and nitrates? Any detected nitrites and ammonia requires immediate partial water changes.
