can i mix the peacock and mubuna together if there the same size

Not generally a good idea. Mbuna are mostly too aggressive for peacocks. In a big enough tank - 75+ gal - you could possibly do it with the more docile mbunas like acei's, rustys or labs. Even then, the fish are all individuals so one acei might be really sweet but another a terror.

You could give it a try but like amberjade said it generally is not a good idea. If you do try just be prepared to have to take either the peacocks or the mbunas back to the store.
i agree her with the exception of a really large tank 125 gal + in that type of tank with plenty of hiding spots it would be doable ...... but in a smaller tank i would not try it myself...
