CFL bulb?

Hi all, I read some posts and just want to be sure...A week ago the screw in bulb that came with my 5 gallon died. I put a CFL bulb in. Is a regular screw in CFL bulb the same as those fancy and expensive ones they sell online and at petco? Particularly is it the same for the growth of my plants? Thanks.

Edit: it is a 2700k bulb, but am I correct that a 6500k is better?

You need to get one around 6500K, GE makes a 6500K they call it "Daylight" I believe. You can get them at Lowe's and Home Depot.

I believe I use this, or something close.
