So just need a heads up as to what kind of substrate I should use for kuhli or dojo loaches? I currently have a tank set up with flourite, and I was planning on having it with loaches but when I was working with the flourite, it seemed kinda rough for the lil guys. I am going to set up a new one (MAYBE???) and put nice gravel. Which one seems good? or am I all set and I can put them in the original tank? Any ideas??
I have kuhli's in my flourite tank and they are fine. They produce extra slime which coats even their eyes to support their digging efforts.
