yay there pregnant
 

yay im so happy, 3 of my 4 female mollies are pregnant, and my 2 female guppies are too. these will be the first baby fish i have ever had, i think i have about a week with one mollie(we bought her pregnant) and the rest i think still 2-3 week, but just wondering wat do i have to feed the fry when they hatch?

and also i just got some cons, and my friend had some pink ones in a 10g tank and they layed eggs but mine are just the stripped cons...will they still lay eggs???

i fed(before they escaped and got eaten by their evil parents :cry: ) my mollie fry extremely fine crushed flake foods and plankton. ohh, and they dont hatch from eggs, mollies and guppies give live birth so if you want them you are gonna have to place them in traps or heavily plant your tank so the little buggers dont get eaten. congrats on the BIG load

Livebearer fry hatched from their eggs internally and will eventually be dropped by their mother from her vent.:)

They should eat anything else you give them.
Yes. Female cons should have orange bellies so it is easy to tell the difference between the genders. Cons breed like rabbits so it is pretty much expected that you'll soon be loaded by several dozens of fry. A batch may have several hundreds of fry (mostly 200-400).

ok thanks you guys, i know mollies and guppies are livebearers, so are swordtails, when i was asking the egg i was talking a convict eggs
