Ghost Shrimp

I have 40 gallon with some ghost shrimp....when i look really closely a few of them seem to have eggs.....how long will it take for them to lay and hatch....or will they even hatch....not to mention i have one in my small 10 gallon with about 2-3 other shrimp with it.....it's been a few weeks now

thx

Ghost shrimp with eggs should be kept on their own, since many fish will gladly eat newly hatched eggs. Not only are other fish a danger, but they're so small that a net will have trouble retrieving them - making them fair game for the filter as well.

It's also not uncommon to never see the spawn of berried shrimp. Enough people on these forums can vouch for that when it comes to Ghost Shrimp.
