Those are some very nice fish, round as they should be,no saw tooth fins, flesh inside the gills is red, very handsome. Would keep an eye on the fish in next to last photo to see that it get's it's share of foods offered. Looks a bit thin, and eyes appear a little large for the fishes head. This could indicate that it's not feeding as much as it would like or is being bullied at feeding time.(just my opinion and could be entirely wrong). All and all, I am quite envious . |

All fish were bought around 4 inches expect the second to last picture. He is about 2 inches but he holds his own during feeding . The only fish that is getting bullied is the White Butterfly by the solid orange discus. He just kind of runs into the white butterfly when he comes to certain areas of the tank. I guess he just being territorial and their is no physical marks on the white butterfly. I found I guy on craigslist trying to rehome his 6inch orange and white discus for $20. Looks very healthy but I was wondering if he was too big for my other discus |

Should you decide to purchase the fish, I would quarantine the fish for minimum of four weeks while observing the fish. Can take a few weeks for fishes to exhibit any health issues. Check for solid poop as opposed to clear stringy feces. Adding new fish to existing stock without quarantine, is risky buisness and good way to introduce unwanted nasties to otherwise healthy fishes. |
