Well, hello everyone! ("Hi Doctacosa!")
I'm new here, obviously. I've been browsing around for a while, gattering information for my first serious aquarium, and I thought that the least I could do was to say hello. :-)
After a move into a new home last summer, I decided to get myself an aquarium. This is my first attempt at fish keeping, excluding a few goldfish in water bowls several years ago. I didn't know any better back then, but I do now! I'm now the happy owner of a fully running 20 gallons aquarium, which I've profiled in this topic.
I'm often not a large contributor on very active forums such as this one, but I'm planning to stick around even if I spend most of my time reading. The community seems friendly and knowledgeable, and I can always do with learning more!
On a side note, I was warned on one of the risks of owning an aquarium: you want to get more! :-P I'm now playing with the idea of getting a smaller tank to feature a betta in it, so who knows where this'll get me in the future!
I too spent my time just reading what people ask and talk about you can learn so much from that!
this is the best site you'll find there are so many people here that have years of experience and they are one of a kind when it comes to friendliness and advice yes they really are.
heres a little helpful link everyone here shares with new members!
