Hello world!

Well, hello everyone! ("Hi Doctacosa!")

I'm new here, obviously. I've been browsing around for a while, gattering information for my first serious aquarium, and I thought that the least I could do was to say hello. :-)

After a move into a new home last summer, I decided to get myself an aquarium. This is my first attempt at fish keeping, excluding a few goldfish in water bowls several years ago. I didn't know any better back then, but I do now! I'm now the happy owner of a fully running 20 gallons aquarium, which I've profiled in this topic.

I'm often not a large contributor on very active forums such as this one, but I'm planning to stick around even if I spend most of my time reading. The community seems friendly and knowledgeable, and I can always do with learning more!

On a side note, I was warned on one of the risks of owning an aquarium: you want to get more! :-P I'm now playing with the idea of getting a smaller tank to feature a betta in it, so who knows where this'll get me in the future!
