New tank
 

Yes I know this has probably been gone over to death by now but I need answers fast and I can't find exactly what I am looking for...

Day 1- Used tap water and Aqueon water conditioner and Nutrafin Aquaplus Water conditioner that came with my 6 GALLON FLUVAL EDGE. I have a couple fake plants, one live plant, and sand in this tank.

Here's my question... I bought Tetra SafeStart and I want to cycle the tank with that and I want to do it fishless. So I will also get ammonia. Do I just put in ammonia (HOW MUCH??) and the TSS? Any Help at all would be great thank you. Will the ammonia spike and then fall back down to 0 (which is desirable right?).
