Welcome to the forum, Chancehall.

Male goldfish should develop tubercles(pimples in appearance) on the onset of spawning season. Females will appear rounder.

It is dependent mostly on the environmental changes and food supply. Conditioning them with live foods will often help trigger spawning.

ok thanks

I have not seen anything on goldfish spawning in a fish tank though. Everything I see on them breeding is in ponds. I would also be concerned that if the goldfish decide to they will eat any and all small fry and eggs that you might get trying to breed anything in a tank with them.

ok 1 of my mollies is pregnant(im happy :D she my first pregnant fish)
we bought her like that and now shes pretty fat, hiding in my shell, and eating everthing that wont go through the foam on my filter,(i have that for my baby angels) i want to know do all pregnant mollies do this?

It is pretty normal for the female to hide in something when close to dropping babies, especially if there are other larger fish in the tank.

ok i have a goldfish about 8 times bigger than her, so
should i do anything, or let nature do its thing?
