need help id'ing pleco
I work at a pet store and one of the plecos that came in with our common plecos is obviously not a common. I don't have a picture of it right now, but may be able to get one.
Here is the best description I can give you of it for now....
it is a yellowish tan color
has light black spots on body and fins
has black stripes going around the tail area
I have been on the net looking up pics of plecos and just can't find a picture of it. If anyone has any idea what kind it might be please let me know. thanks.
Have you tried looking at some of the examples on xxxxxxxxx.com???

given the right conditions expect it reach in excess of 12 inches so imo you would need a tank of 5x2x2 (foot) as a minimum to house the adult fish.

i figured it would be one of the species that get large. I guess I won't be getting it, I don't have the room or money to have a tank that large.
