Is this expected zebra danio behavior?
I have a 29 gallon tank. I recently bought 3 zebra danios (1 full grown, and 2 smaller ones). They are in a communtiy tank with 7 neons 3 x-ray pristella, 2 honey gourami, 1 male platy, 1 male endler, 1 BN Pleco and a hillstream loach. It's been 3 days and they are primarily staying at the top, racing around, chasing each each other (well, really the smaller ones chasing after the larger one) Is this typical? If I added a couple of more of them (if I'm not overstocked) would that help?
Sounds normal to me, the ones I had chased each other all the time.
Yep. Add a few more to disperse their attention a bit.
