10 gallon
I have a 10 gallon tank. 1 male betta. 1 fat pepper cory. 1 ill cory in quarantine tank. im lookin to stock my tank a little more. it is planted with decor. any suggestions? i want mid level swimmers

i had 3 corys but 1 died. the one in quarantine i believe has fungus. but as everyday goes by it seems to be getting better. im not even using any meds. cant afford it right now, but when i can imma buy it.

You should get some more cories to keep yours company one he recovers. Other than that, I suggest neon tetras. They are beautiful, mid level schooling fish. Get at least 5!

i would get more cories but the big one seems to be dominant and not letting the others 2 eat. thats why one died and i think this one is sick

If the cory is behaving like that, you can keep it by itself just fine. This sounds like a female cory to me.

Sweeda made a good suggestion with neons. If you don't like them, try hengeli rasboras or celestial pearl danios.

For your future reference, true fungal infections are absolutely rare. It takes untreated injuries for the spores to start establishing themselves and spread around the fish. Maroxy is your best course of treatment for this. Most "fungal infections" are simply caused by columnaris, a gram-negative bacteria. Treatments include kanamycin/kanaplex, a combination of Maracyn (erythromycin) and Maracyn 2 (minocycline), Maracyn Plus and Jungle Fungus Clear.
