Angel fish and their food
I have 4 angels in my 55 gallon tank. They seem to be always hungry... They eat well.. until today.. I gave them some frozen bloodworms and they spat them out!
I have never known a cichlid to turn down worms.. Are mine just nuts?
Of course my cories were not at all upset about that... more for them :-D
Is this the first time they ate bloodworms? Did they chew those again? Cichlids do tend to spit and chew them repeatedly.
I do agree agree with lupin, maybe they just weren't hungry... how long did you watch them eat for beacause maybe they went for it later
between my cherry barbs and my cories, they didn't give them much of a chance to try too many times.
I'm not overly concerned.. they are growing well and developing some unique personalities. I feed a wide variety of foods throughout the week, so they get plenty of variety... was mostly just a surprised observation about them.. and different considering they tend to eat anything at any time.
