Angel's First SPAWN!!! PICS [VIDS]
Hello its Plumkin I got some amazing news my angels finally spawned! when i came home from work I noticed the females papila was WAY WAY OUT and the males was showing so I was thinking after 2 months or more of watching youtube vids of them spawning and reading info on forums and what now im like OH YES THERE GOING TO HAVE EGGS!! just you wait and see in a few hours bam eggs i bet..[i said to my fiancee]
and so i see the female doing the slowing swim and rub up the magnic but no eggs then about 30 mins later 1 egg! i was like YES! then watched them eat it  so i was sad for a bit then I seen a few more eggs they got aten also then she laid about 5 like so . . . . . and she didnt eat them then it was on! they been layin eggs for an hour now filled that magic up ! heres some pics and and vids might take awhile to upload but there will be some REALLY good vids of them spawning I will be keeping new pics and vids as the eggs get older and become wigglers you can see how it all happend from this link
was sorta dissapointed that they didnt lay the eggs on the amazon mother plant and lupin thank you for all the great information you have given me :) I would love some more on what to do about these eggs ! hehe:lol:
enjoy pictures as im enjoying the experiance I was going to go out to a movie and dinner but this BEATS ANYTHING! haha
YAY for eggs! <3 Congrats I am glad you have babies to see soon, I've only had livebearers before
thank you ! this is very exciting :D
Congrats on the eggs! Don't be surprised if they eat them though. Angels will often eat their first few spawns.
I wont be allowing that :D Ill be removing the eggs when i wake up tomorrow I want to move the angles away from the eggs right now but i know they need that extra fanning from the fins of the angels to keeup them from rotting till i get there tank ready tomorrow.
Great vid. What is it about the back of those algae magnets? It's also the preferred place that my Discus use for spawning. They have broad leaves everywhere in the tank but it's the algae magnet, nearly every time, lol.
lol I dont know either but its so cool to watch :D I woke up today with alll the eggs still there mom and dad are still fanning them so they dont rot being good parents :) I hop when i remove the eggs today they wont get depressed and not spawn them again
