Do you think there will be issues between a betta and guppy? More importantly a betta and a Ram? I'm thinking of tearing down my betta tank and putting him into my community tank. I'm tired of the upkeep on such a small tank and don't think it's worth it. If not, I'll keep it up.

How big is the tank?
Rams + bettas = depends on tank size
Bettas + guppies = Forget it.
Male bettas easily view the guppies as their rivals due to their flashy fins. Even gouramis do the same. I had one male guppy killed by my sparkling gouramis when they actually viewed him as their rival much to my dismay.
Maybe just try guppies and rams instead.
I think that 6 gallons just isn't enough for the maintenance, it was fun for a while, but I'm not just going to get rid of my fish without a plan/ adopter.
I'm looking to sell it on craiglist with everything currently for 30 bucks, I just want it gone.
If anyone in the Chicago area would like a 6 gallon tank with a Betta for $30 with everything you need pm me and it's yours!
I have got a betta and 4 small, not quite breeding ,rams in a 55. I have lots of plant and lots of cover, but the betta and 1,2,3 or 4 rams are frequently in close promity and I have had no problems at all. Of course, as I have learned a lot depends on a lot of circumstances, including the nature of the fish in question. I also have celestial pearl danios and some pork chop rasboras. Everybody is getting along fine, so far.
