Freshwater fliying fish??

When i was beginning in the aquarium hobby a few years back i saw these cool looking freshwater fish in the internet that looked like flying fish im pretty sure thier not african butterfly fish cause they looked more like guppies with epic fins and they didn't appear to be that big in size

hatchet fish can jump out of the tank and glide across the room, apparently.

brook silversides can jump up to 10x their length in a low arc and do resemble flying fish, they only get to about 5" max. I'm not sure on their hardiness in aquariums though
