Hybrid Aponogeton Bulbs

Started 8 Bulbs in my 29g tank this afternoon.

The instructions say: "Just drop them in...and watch them grow".
LOL...I DONT THINK SO...here's what I did:
I filled small tupperware containers 75% full with gravel to give the roots something to grab on to as they grow(hopefully).
I also did this with the intention of moving them to different places in the tank at a later date if they are successful.
I attempted to call the company "Sea-Life Inc." in Sioux Falls, SD. to find out what specific type of Aponogeton these bulbs are but theres no listing in the phone directory.
By the claims on the packaging these plants grow (6" to 8") in just 15 days.
In 3-4 weeks they are supposed to have white and pink blooms that can be cut off to continue plant growth.

I'll keep updating this post with their progress, if any, and try to include photo's.
Possibly someone with more experience can help me identify the specific type of plant as they grow/if they grow.
PKG of 8 Bulbs Cost: $2.38 (walmart)

Update:
Of the 3 that sprouted one stopped growing.
Here are pic's of the other 2 showing the difference of when I used only a incandescent lamp:

Well...The plants out-grew the 10g fairly quick...so they got put in the 29g.
Updated Pic showing the thickness of the plants.
