stocking sugestions?

I want some nice fish that aren't shrimp. The pH is 7.6 at the moment but I will probaly bring it down on the fishes needs I was thinking clown killies. To bring it down I will use peat. It will be a heavily planted tank with sand it is soft water I will have my lfs test itsone
