Breeding Red Cherry Shrimp
 

Hey guys I am starting a 10g shrimp tank. It will be cycled. Any good advice or websites you can think of? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Yes, my best tip would be what I do. ;-)
Baby RCS feed off of the bacterium that grows on dead plant matter. Once I added Indian Almond leaves to my tank I upped the survival rate of babies to nearly 100%. Before the addition of leaves I had babies here and there. Once the leaves were added to the tank the population exploded.

Great thanks! I have betta fish too so I can just use the IALs I have for them. I will definitely check that site out, the ones at my LFS are expensive.

You should! Amy had a great product, excellent customer service and really great prices. I order the grade "B" leaves, what she calls grade "B" is an "A" to me. Fifty leaves for just a few bucks, you can't beat it, and the shrimp LOVE them. ;-)

Yeah Grade A isn't necessary to me, I crunch them up anyways when I steep them. Perfect leaves would just be a waste lol.
