guppy tail damage.. help please Hi. I have a new 20 G aquarium and followed the directions to set up. Its been 2 weeks and I have 15 fish . Came home today and my beautiful male guppy has 3/4ths of his tail gone. I have 3 mollies (1 male) 5 guppies (2 males) 6 glowfish, one Cory catfish and one skeleton catfish. Who do you think is the culprit? The glofish chase all the time, but mainly each other and they're small. I'm suspecting the male molly but I've never seen him chase anything but the female. What do you think? |
not really sure it would seem likely its the other male guppy. if you added a few more females it would create a bit less competition for their attention... |
it is not the glofish they are peace full exept to each other |
Well, male guppies and mollies are actually capable of doing tail damage with each other. Skeleton catfish is glass catfish, correct? |
not to add to your problems but Cories need to be in groups.. 5 or more is better, but 3 will do.. same species of cories like same species best too. Gina |
