my 4 tanks
 

After seeing some pretty awesome cichlid tanks, I think my project for next year will be an african tank, maybe 55 gallons, though I'd love to go bigger.... :) I worry about the weight!

Here's what I currently have (sorry, these were the best pics I could get):

46 gallon bowfront:

finally, the 29 gallon 'tetra tank' which currently holds only a few black phantoms and neon tetras (and 2 juvenile b-n plecos)

Are you planning to keep blue rams?:thumbsup: They're not that difficult to keep at all.:wink2: Mind you, they're fun to watch.:welldone:

Actually I just came back from the fish store (didn't get anything), and saw they had some blue rams, beautiful -- however they had a pair quite dead on the bottom of their tank and one shy one in the back. So I will wait. I was actually looking for some tetras. Ever hear of Krilli tetras? I may have that wrong, I've never seen them before and I'm not sure how big they can get? They are a narrower tetra with a purplish/black horizontal stripe.

Sounds more like Kerri Tetras.:) They can be a bit nippy but otherwise peaceful.
