Just lost 2 inches of water in 2 hours!

I was just on the forum when I heard my filter start acting up on my 90 gallon tank. I was kind of annoyed because it had been slightly louder since I took off the top to look for my fire eel. I went in and the water level had dropped several inches, so the top filter intake was only half submerged! What happened? I have unplugged the filter.

Holy crap... It was the filter! The canister filter's intake fitting had come loose and was leaking!! It spilled all under the aquarium. But I got it stopped. Good thing I found it before I left for church!

i would get that cleaned up ASAP i did that last year and my carpet ended up growing mold on it and stank the room out ! I had to move the whole tank to clean up underneath. Good luck
