BEHOLD...I have crafted cavery.

This took some work.
I don't have any power tools so I used a sharp knife and a pair of needle nose pliers.

What do you think? I'm proud of myself, this is the first time I've crafted anything on my own for either of my tanks.

p.s. don't mind the dirty plates in the background...haha.
My roommates are not civilized and cannot keep the kitchen sink clear of dishes, so I'm forced to do my own in my bathroom sink. -_-
I just got sidetracked by cave making and forgot about the dishes. :P

Nice job! So, how did you do it? Did you score the pot with the knife and then break off pieces with the pliers?

Precisely! It took some carving to score it good enough. Then I clamped the score line with the wire cutters on my needle nose pliers and started breaking pieces off. Then I sanded down the sharp edges, but that was after the picture was taken.

I'm going to make a few more for my new musk turtle hatchling!

Nice work. Don't forget to plug up the hole at the bottom so that no fish get wedged in it.
