Who dun it ?????
The victims...... Neon and his 4 friends:

The Suspects:

Stripe the headstander:

The catfish twins:

Two tone tony:

The tetra clan:

Rainbow Rick

And the giant danio triplets

The five neons went for a ride from petco, to what was to be their fate.... the 125 of death.
On the second day of the trip they noticed that one of their clan had gone missing.
They call the local cops, but the investigation went rather slooooowely.

The cops started to investgate, but the crime scene was a dificult.... caves.... forests.... lots of places to hide.

Over the next couple o days.... neon and his crew disappeared, and the investigation slowly slid to a stop.
But the question remains.....
Who Dun It

That's a beautiful tank!!

My guess is the catfish.

Not sayin it can't be them, but they were in my 55 with neons before I moved them to the big tank.?.?.? That would SUCK because they are terrible to catch LOL :frustrated:

If the neons were small and the giant danios are big, they could have done it. Rainbows throats are too small.

I don't know a thing about headstanders.

I am not gonna lie I was scrolling down and reading and I thought you were gonna tell a story I was all excited! haha :P
But I think it coulda really been any of the fish.... I mean neon tetras are pretty small and if you haven't heard the fish rule: If it will fit in a fish's mouth it will probably eat it.

Your tank is awesome and I love the way you set it up like a mystery story. LOL My bet is on the catfish.

Neons sleep near the bottom, and catfish have whiskers for a reason :)

My money is on the synodontis or possibly Buenos aires tetra's who could have injured the fish and then catfish finished them off.
Have caught loaches, plecos, and catfishes by placing a six to eight inch long PVC pipe with one end of the pipe stuffed with filter floss and a flat stone to hold it down in the aquarium for a few days.
Early morning before lights come on,Reach in and cover the open end of the PVC with your hand and remove it from the tank.Fish mentioned are curious, and often like to use such things to hide in which makes catching them a bit easier.
May or may not take a few days but has worked for me numerous times.8-)
