Hi Blabomb, Welcome to TFK. Was that a new tank you say??? There are some wonderful people on here and lots of knowledge and reference. Take the time to cycle your tank before you spend the money on fish. Second if you have not already done so, look around your local fish store, LFS, and find ones you like and then go home and research them. LFS staff will sell you anything, learn what is appropriate for the tank size you have. ( Know how big the fish you pick are going to get.) Invest in a water testing kit, the little bottles not the test strips, so that you can identify conditions in your tank quickly and don't have to make trips to your LFS the next day... when it can be too late. Oh ya, and we love pics!! Update your profile, your "aquarium log" on the top menu bar. You can describe your tank and add pics in there. They will show up on your 'Aquariums" tab under you name when you post. Yes it is highly highly addictive!!
And don't be afraid to ask questions!!
