From large tank to small

So i want more fish in my 55g im planning on taking my two acf's out of the 55g and putting them in an 18 gallon i have never done this before so im wondering if it will hurt them maybe stress or confusion?

im guessing by the picture ACF = African (Albino) Claw Frogs
