She left a legacy...
One of my 3 female Guppies passed on today...
I believe that she died from the stress during LABOR.
Lost one...but Gained at least 6 more little tails and sets of eyes swimming!!!
I did a 40% water change yesterday and bumped up the temp by 4 degrees to 80(over 8 hours).
Today I'm handing out cigars
I have lost some many really nice females from giving birth that I have lost count but it is so good to hear you have some of her legacy to keep breeding with.
Keep up with the brood and you will be amazed what variations you will see in a short length of time. I now have a beautiful white male sword that has come out of batches from sunset orange and red swords over the past 6 months or so. It is so weird to see, even in guppies, how many different color variations and patterns you will see from one group of fish.
LOL...Like a Proud Papa
(and the count is 11 so far)
I caught a decent picture of some of them Finally!
aww bless they are so cute,
well done, keep up the good work.
Long live the legacy of the female guppy...
When I was a kid I was given 6 guppies by my second grade teacher, these 6 guppies spawned some 5 years (and three or four tanks) worth of guppy farm...
Long live guppies... 8)
