Fish food expiration

So I recall seeing a thread somewhere (no idea if it was this forum or another) that told you how to figure out when your fish food was made. I realized I have alot of fish food and have had it quite awhile,so I am just wondering how long is it really good for? I do have 4 tanks to feed,but still dont feed them that much.

Well I am very curious to hear this one too cause I keep my fish food FOREVER!! Seems like. Well I have a huge Rubbermaid storage tub where I keep my bucket, extra tubing, filter parts, and I'm sure there are at least 3 other old foods in there PLUS the extra current food. (cause we buy it in huge quantities to save money.) I have Betta food, Cichlid food,"go away for a week" food. You know,... a collection of old stuff. I'm sure when I bought the huge current batch they said, no problem it keeps forever.....hmmmm?
