How do I know when my Aquarium has fully cycled?
I've had my fish in my aquarium for a few weeks now (since 29th December 2010) and they are showing no signs of ammonia poisoning.
I was just wondering how do i know when the enviroment has fully cycled?
Do you have a liquid test kit in order to check your water parameters??
Not yet no...
The only way (in my experience) to determine if your tank has fully cycled or not is to test the water. Ammonia and NitrIte should be zero, and there should be a measurable reading for nitrAte. Without a test kit you'd have no way to know.
Most pet stores will test your water for free. Just take them a small ample and see what they say.
