best tool for the job?

what would be the best tool I could use to scrape silicone of the sides of the glass in my tank with out scratching the glass?

I have always used a sharp blade. Either a box razor or a sharp knife. Hold the blade at an angle less than 60 degrees. Careful to scrape and not slice, kind of like shaving, no cutting movement of the blade against the glass. Only on glass though, no acrylic. If you are worried, practice in an area that is likely to get covered up, like the bottom of the tank. Hope that helps :)
