PH, nitrite & ammonia help!

I bought the Hagen Master Test Kit today, the books inside say it's ment for aquariums, is it okay for ponds too? it didn't say any of this on the box.

On my new pond I tested the PH low range, it was off the chart, so I tested the PH high range and it's still off the chart, it goes up to 8.6. I also tested the Nitrite and it was 0, and the Ammonia NH3/NH4 and it was also 0. What should these levels be at? Do I need a pond kit to properly test or is this tank kit fine? The pond is for koi, goldfish, and tadpoles/frogs.

Ammonia and nitrites should remain at zero or else you risk killing your fish. What is your nitrates?

The Nitrites are zero too. The aquarium test kit PH only goes upto 8.6 and it was off the chart when i tested it, what should it be at for a pond?
