amazing tiger barbs!!
i have been patiently building up a school of tiger barbs in a 30 gallon tank- and today it finally paid off! my school went from 6-9 tigers, and it looks amazing. i am totally in awe of mother nature right now. i can't believe how their behavior has changed, just by increasing the school! they are more playful, they all swim in a big group- its pretty amazing. i know the lowest number you should keep is 6, but man, the more you add, the better the show!!!
i also noticed with the larger group, the males are keeping the females in the center...anyone know the significance of this?? gosh this is so neat!! :P
i think it has something to do with mating ?
are the fish in a downward facing position ?
I have not kept Tiger Barbs before but I have been doing a bit of research on them and I came across this article which I thought was great..
that is an impressive artical.
