When can you begin intoducing coral into an aquarium???

I am planning to get a few easy coral like some mushrooms, polyps and toadstools. I was wondering when I would be able to start introducing them into my tank. I already have the coral pictured below. It came attached to my LR and it seems to be doing rather well. http://www.fishforum.com/userpix/321_Picture_003_3.jpg

Is that one doing good? If so I would add one at a time.

It's actually doing excellent. I've heard they are hardy though. Thanks
