Pond for New Jersey
I was wondering what other fish can I keep in a pond in New Jersey? Besides Koi. I want to put some of my tropical freshwaters in one for the summer. I know I have to bring them in at the end of summer or early fall.
What fish were you thinking of placing there? What is also the size of your pond? You might have to consider increasing the filtration capacity with the added bioload. Koi aren't known heavy waste producers for nothing.
i live in in north jersey i don't a pond yet (going to build one) but i u can keep in summer plecos,my be minnows and misqutio fish . Or if you've got a big pond you might be able to have a catfish from north america.
I do not have a pond yet. I want to build one and have it ready for next spring. I just wanted to do some research on what fish besides Koi to put in the pond.
